Before. Miles “Pudge” Halter is done with his safe life at home. His whole life has been one big non-event, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave “the Great Perhaps” even more (Francois Rabelais, poet). He heads off to the sometimes crazy and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young. She is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart. Then. . . .

After. Nothing is ever the same.

THIS BOOK IS ABOUT MILES 'PUDGE' HALTER WHO GOES TO A NEW BOARDING SCHOOL. HE MEETS NEW FRIENDS MOST IMPORTANTLY ALASKA YOUNG.  HE TRIES TO FIND A PLACE WHERE HE FITS IN. PUDGE AND HIS FRIENDS DO SOME CRAZY AND  WILD THINGS IN THIS BOARDING SCHOOL.............

OKAY SO I THOUGHT I WOULD LOVE THIS BOOK. I CAME INTO THIS BOOK WITH HIGH EXECPTATIONS AND CAME OUT WITH MIXED FEELINGS. SINCE THE FIRST BOOK I READ BY JOHN GREEN WAS TFIOS WHICH I REALLY LOVED, I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO LOVE THIS ONE TOO! I ACTUALLY LIKED THE SECOND HALF TO THIS BOOK THAN THE FIRST HALF. IN MY OPINION, THE SECOND HALF  IS WHEN IT GOT MORE INTERESTING. I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE ANY CHARACTERS IN THIS BOOK. THE THINGS THAT THE CHARACTERS DID IN THIS BOOK WERE A LITTLE ANNOYING. AT SOME POINTS IN THIS BOOK, PUDGE MADE SOME WRONG CHOCIES.

I WILL TRY READING ANOTHER JOHN GREEN. HOPEFULLY I WILL LIKE IT MORE THAN THIS BOOK.

                                                                         3.7/5 Stars
